NOTICE ~ Our church council decided not to continue our Christian Education Fund program for the 2008- 2009 school year.  According to the rules the congregation passed when approving the fund “90% of the cost of the ministry program must be received by May 30th” and if this requirement is not met, “the ministry program will be discontinued.”   Because only 60% had been received, the council had no choice but to reluctantly discontinue the program. 

We realize that this will create financial hardship for some of our families and may effect their decision of whether or not to send their child(ren) to a Christian school.  Because of that our deacons will be setting up a tuition assistance fund to help needy families with Christian School tuition.  And we will soon be receiving gifts and special offerings for that fund.
