Faith Community CRC

The purpose of GEMS Girls' Clubs is to bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. To help foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well - between girls and between girls and their counselor (leader).

GEMS

GEMS club is for girls only! GEMS is for girls, grades 1 through 8, and meets the first and third  Wednesday nights each month. Meetings are held at the church.

New season begins each September....Wednesday, September 16, 2009  Our season concludes in June  2010 ~ with GEMS Sunday.  The Girls will present a special program during our morning worship service.

GEMS  ~ Welcome to GEMS!  It’s exciting to be a part of a group where Girls Everywhere are Meeting the Savior.  GEMS is open to any girl in grades 1st – 8th grade.  We meet on first & third Wednesdays from 6 – 7:45PM, here at Faith Community CRC.  At GEMS girls sing, do crafts, study the Bible, play games, go on outings and make friends. GEMS promotes spiritual growth through the study of the theme for the year and personal growth through the completion of badge work.  If you have any questions, please see or call Brenda Dykstra, or Cindy Klein

2009 - 2010 :: Prayer ~ No Worries!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything,
by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6

God is sovereign, all-knowing, and all foreseeing. In His infinite wisdom and boundless love, He gives repeated instruction in His Word that we must pray. Understanding that God knows all things – even what we’ll pray before we pray it – why should we pray? We pray in obedience to God who tells us to pray about everything with thanksgiving and to worry about nothing. We pray to tell God what we need and through prayer God gives us exactly what we need – a deeper relationship with Himself.
