PRAYER REQUESTS

We are happy to pray for anyone who has a need...you do not have to attend our church or even live in our community!

If you submit a prayer request on the form below, it will be placed on our weekly list of prayer needs.

You can make prayer requests on the form on this webpage...or you can email them to prayer@bdcrc.org ...if you want your requests emailed to all church members on our email list.

We also believe strongly in corporate prayer (praying as a group), and we pray together each Sunday morning... and we encouarage all who attend our church to continue to pray for needs through out the week.

There are two ways to view prayer requests at home.

1. View them online by logging in to our private members area. This requires a sign in process. (click here for sign up instructions) This is for members only.

2. Receive the weekly prayer requests via email. Fill in the form below to get them in your email inbox. The emails will come from "Faith Community CRC Mailing List" and the sender's address will be lists@forministry.com - please check your spam folder and/or set your email to accept. You will receive an initial email asking you to "confirm" that you wish to be on our email list. Once you "confirm", you will begin to receive prayer requests and occasional announcements from our email list. This is for members only. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Q. Why is prayer necessary for Christians?
Answer. Because it is the chief part of thankfulness which God requires of us: and also, because God will give his grace and Holy Spirit to those only, who with sincere desires continually ask them of him, and are thankful for them.
Q. What are the requisites of that prayer, which is acceptable to God, and which he will hear?
Answer. First, that we from the heart pray to the one true God only, who hath manifested himself in his word, for all things, he hath commanded us to ask of him; secondly, that we rightly and thoroughly know our need and misery, that so we may deeply humble ourselves in the presence of his divine majesty; thirdly, that we be fully persuaded that he, notwithstanding that we are unworthy of it, will, for the sake of Christ our Lord, certainly hear our prayer, as he has promised us in his word.
Q. What hath God commanded us to ask of him?
Answer. All things necessary for soul and body; which Christ our Lord has comprised in that prayer he himself has taught us.
Q. What are the words of that prayer?
Answer. Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
