The local church council has approved supporting "Nuevo Comienzo" (New Beginning) a new Spanish language ministry here in Beaver Dam, by allowing them to use our building for their 1:00 PM Sunday worship and for other special services they might have. The group has been meeting in a nearby apartment complex and has about 15- 20 regular attendees. They are also, in part, supported by Faith Bible Church in Waupun. Magda Acosta, the church planter, welcomes any of our members who would like to attend a service or help with Nursery/Children's Worship.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study - meets here at church at 10 AM. Open to all adults. CURRENTLY ON SUMMER BREAK. Jesus the One and Only by Beth Moore.

6/5/10 ~ We would like to organize a young couples/ singles fellowship. More details will be forthcoming. Please contact Pastor Dave if your are interested.

June 21-26, 2010 ~ Praise God for the 236 campers who were at Camp Calvin this summer! Look for pictures of the campers on the website (www.campcalvin.com)

Sunday School begins September 12th! We are in need of teachers for all grades! All material is provided; we just need your willing spirit! Please contact Greg or Marla Wedel.

September 15 ~ GEMS & Cadets ~ our first meeting is coming up soon! We’ll give you time to get adjusted to the new school year, but then mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 15th at 6PM for a Party! Party Hint: cool & blue For kids ages grade 1 through 5.

September 16 ~ Beaver Dam Aglow Lighthouse meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month...now meeting at Faith Community church.

September 20 ~ (Monday) Friendship Club meets at 7 PM

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for this large group...no experience necessary...just a "willing heart" to assist those who have various degrees of disability.

CRWRC Disaster Response Services

After horrific tornadoes raked their way through neighborhoods and businesses in Mississippi, survey crews from the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (www.crwrc.org) are traveling into the destruction areas. The crews, in coordination with the organization's regional disaster response managers and partner agencies, will begin to determine a course of action for clean up, providing immediate financial assistance and planning for long-term recovery.
